2026 Wonderwall Membership FAQ

We're so glad you're interested in coming back into the Wonderwall for the 2026 season! 2025 has been an incredible ride — and it's only about half done, there's a lot more to come, including potentially a winning a trophy at home? Maybe more than one??

If you're here, you've likely heard that the Wonderwall membership is rising from $25 to $35, less than $1 per game. Below are answers some of common questions we've been asked:

Simply put, the cost of making the Wonderwall what it has come to be has gone up. We have literally never raised dues before, but if we wanted to keep having things like award-winning tifos, we needed to start increasing the budget a little bit.

The vast majority of the Wonderwall budget goes to making the gameday atmosphere one of the best in MLS: all of the materials and space rental for tifo, drums for the Thunderwall, smoke, flags, etc. Smaller expenses include charitable donations through DGS, merch, and taxes. Importantly, not a dime goes to Minnesota United — though if we thought it'd help bring in another world-class player, we might consider passing the hat.

The membership fee is part of the cost of season tickets in the Wonderwall rather than affiliation. So you can choose not to affiliate with any of the SGs, but as long as you have season tickets in the Wonderwall, you'll be a member.

Depends on how you define best record. Most wins? Houston and Portland, the Loons have beaten both 10 times. Points per match? The Loons are 5-0-1 against St. Louis in all competitions for a 2.50 PPM.

We have a public meeting every month (usually the first Tuesday of the month) to talk through what’s going on. Right now info goes out primarily on the Wonderwall social channels, but we’re hoping to start a more consistent email newsletter, too. You can sign up for our email list here: In the meantime, Shoot us a message on Instagram or Blue Sky and we’ll send you the Zoom link.

Easy first steps: Follow on social media, sign up for their email list/Discord, come to pre- and post-game hangouts, and volunteer events. If you've been involved for a while and want to help lead, every SG is led by a board of volunteers and holds elections annually, the same is true for Wonderwall itself. Whatever talents you'd like to share, we’re excited to have your help!

Not a question, but that’s ok: We’re always interested in new ideas! Shoot us an email at info@mnwonderwall.com — it’s monitored, so we’ll see your idea. We can’t do everything, but we’ll definitely consider it.

Shoot us an email at info@mnwonderwall.com, come to a monthly meeting, or come to a pre-game at Black Hart or Midway Saloon, and we’ll answer as best we can.
